Over the month of November, Act 2 put on their fall production of Little Woman. The company prepped for many weeks before being able to perform a wonderful play for everyone. The company held the play on November 14, 15, 21, 22 and 23.
Act 2 prides itself on being a student led company. They contain a student executive board along with each production has a student director and stage manager. Griffin Peltier held the position of director while Allison Wubbenhurst held the title of stage manager. The students are very proud of what they were able to put on with the help of their advisors and other student leaders.
Anna Flynn who played Marmee says “I’m proud of how well everyone worked together and how we were able to put on a production we can all say we put our all into”
Little Women was also performed in front of multiple English classes within the school. Students were allowed to come during the last two hours of the school day to watch an intriguing performance.
Addison Yost who saw the performance says, “ My favorite part was being able to watch my friends on stage and do something they love.”
After the performance, PTO gave a very generous donation to the company of 500 dollars to help fund the upcoming spring musical Little Shop Of Horrors.
Act 2 has put on many amazing productions and everyone is very excited to see what they do come spring.
