FSA ID

On Friday 11/21/25, during seminar the counseling office hosted a FSA ID workshop for seniors.

This workshop had about 50 students attend. Some of the students already had an FSA ID and were able to just show it to receive a doughnut, but some students did not show up prepared as each student needs their social security number and a non-school email to complete the steps to make a FSA ID. However, making the ID is easy and takes only 5 minutes. So if you plan on going to college or the trades or need any training for your future endeavors you should take the time and make a FSA ID too!

According to Ms. Braun, an FSA ID is a student identification number that replaces the SS# on FAFSA. Both the students and their parents will create a FSA ID. They only have to do it once and it will stay the same numbers for each year they will submit FAFSA for help paying for college or any training.

Any senior still needing to create an FSA ID can refer to the slides from the counselors (included here) or make an appointment with their counselor.
