On November 11th 2025 Mr.Cogswell, one of our math teachers here at PCHS, was nominated to be the staff member of the week. Mr.Cogswell has worked at our school for 22 years, and throughout those years he has shown many characteristics like creativity, kindness and leadership.
One piece of advice Mr.Cogswell would give the students is, “Don’t sweat the small stuff.” Many students say that because of his patience and hard working skills to make them better, they feel more confident in math class. What made Mr. Cogswell become a math teacher is his determination to help students. His dedication to helping every student succeed shows how much he cares about teaching and makes a positive difference in the classroom.
When asked about how he felt about being voted teacher of the week he said, “it’s nice to be recognized by staff and students.”
