Pinckney JV boys ended in a close game but fell to Adrian, 56-45 away. Pinckney was just behind 13-11 after the first quarter and stayed within reach until halftime. Adrains 21 points in the third quarter created a gap between the maples and the pirates. The pirates continued to compete in the fourth quarter.
Brendan Shafer led the game with 16 points followed by Josh Mondro with 10, Justin Minter adding 6 to the scoreboard. The teamshot 38.9% from three point range and 66.7% from the free throw line while having 8 steals and 15 defensive rebounds. Adrian held a strong offensive and secured the win 56-45.
