This week’s Student of the Week is freshman Landyn Allan, and we’re excited to highlight her.
When we asked her how it felt to get picked, she said it “feels good,” and she already knew she was chosen ahead of time.
Even though she expected it, she still seemed happy about earning the recognition and appreciated being noticed.
Landyn thinks she deserved Student of the Week because she’s kind to others and tries to be a positive person around school.
She’s also very involved in different activities. She plays volleyball and soccer, and she’s part of Class Council, which means she helps make decisions and represent her grade. All of these activities keep her busy, but she enjoys being part of the school community.
Outside of her activities, Landyn is working toward a personal goal that many students can relate to, doing well in driver’s training.
Landyn wants to be successful and is putting in the effort to reach that goal. Even with everything she has going on, she still tries her best to stay focused and responsible.
When we asked what advice she would give other students, she said, “Be kind to others and work hard in class,” which shows she values both kindness and effort.
Congratulations to Landyn for being our Student of the Week! She sets a great example for other students through her involvement, her goals, and the positive way she treats people.
