On November 24th 2025 Mr.Ichesco, one of the math teachers here at PCHS, was nominated to be the staff member of the week. Mr. Ichesco worked in Ypsilanti for 17 years prior to working here at Pinckney for the last 9 years. Mr. Ichesco shows many qualities like dedication, loyalty, and generosity.
One reason why Mr. Ichesco likes teaching math is “math is like solving a puzzle.” Something that has inspired Mr. Ichesco to become a math teacher is that he has enjoyed helping his sister with Down syndrome.
One piece of advice Mr. Ichesco would give is students is “It’s okay to make mistakes.”
When asked about how he felt about being voted teacher of the week he said he feels “happy” and “It will make his mom happy!” to be voted staff of the week.
Unfortunately for PCHS, Mr. Ichesco has chosen to retire. We thank him for his years of service and wish him the best!
