On November 19th 2025 Mr. Bayush, the health and physical education teacher here at PCHS, was nominated to be the staff member of the week. Mr. Bayush has been working in education for 25 years and has worked at Pinckney for 5 years. Throughout those years he has shown many great traits like his sense of humor, his kindness and his honesty.
This year, Mr. Bayush took over student government. When asked about why, he said “I didn’t want the program to die and that is valuable to the school.”
One piece of advice that Mr.Bayush would give students is, “Don’t take high school for granted.”
When asked about how he felt about being voted teacher of the week he said he feels “HONORED!!!” to be voted staff of the week.
Student and staff of the week is an opportunity to highlight and honor someone from our school. So make sure you look in your email for the form to get your votes every Friday!
