The Pinckney Varsity Pom Team delivered an impressive performance at their most recent competition, held at Rochester High School in Rochester. Competing against strong programs from across the region, the team earned second place overall, showcasing their hard work, precision, and dedication throughout the season.
Pinckney’s pom routine also placed second, finishing just behind Rochester High School, a team currently ranked #1 nationally. Going head-to-head with a nationally ranked program and securing a second-place finish highlights the strength and growth of the Pinckney team and reflects the countless hours of practice they’ve put in.
This competition was especially meaningful, as it marked the final competition of the season for the seniors. For them, it was not just about placements, but about performing one last time alongside teammates who have become family. The seniors expressed how much they will miss competing together, sharing the pressure, excitement, and pride that comes with representing Pinckney on the competition floor.
Although the competition season has come to an end, the Varsity Pom Team isn’t done yet. They still have two basketball games left to perform at, including the highly anticipated Senior Night, where the seniors will be celebrated for their contributions and leadership.
With a strong finish to their competition season and meaningful performances still ahead, the Pinckney Varsity Pom Team continues to leave a lasting impact—one built on teamwork, commitment, and school spirit.
