Pinckney Pirates girls Volleyball has been having a great season this year. The varsity team has won 14 volleyball games so far.
Kayla Green, senior (Pink Pearl Series), is a great player on the varsity team. She uses a lot of great techniques such as passing and bumps, and she is a good over hitter. She has so much spirit and is always having a good time. Kayla has 19 kills, a .333 hitting percentage and 11 blocks. A saying she always thinks about is, “stay focused on the court and have a good time; don’t let anyone or anybody’s words ruin your time playing.”
Tatiana Williams, senior (Pink Power Series), is an incredible player! She is a very good outside hitter and she spikes the ball very well over the net and also gets a few good digs during a game. Tatiana has been playing volleyball for most of her high school career and has grown a lot as a player. Tatiana has a 1.96 SR rating, 8 Aces and 36 Digs. Tatiana stated, “Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.”
Chloe Gatsby, junior (Pink Power Series), has great spirit and mindset on and off the court, she is a good outside hitter as well and she is a good setter to the girls. Chloe has 37 Assists, 2 Aces and 11 Digs. Chloe notices when they “need to get our energy up” and she tries by complimenting her teammates on the little things during huddles.
